Job Description
We are looking for a Bilingual Portuguese for this role.
In need of an HR specialist to support US, Mexico and Brazil HR Operations.
- Onboard new hires by coordinating pre-hire activities and delivering orientation
- Input quality data into Workday, advise employees and managers on the system process flow, and monitor data flowing into payroll
- Draft and deliver communication related to HR processes/benefits/policies
- Assist with compensation, benefits, and leave of absence related activities
- Triage employee relations issues, managing common or routine issues and escalating more complex cases
- Conduct investigations, review policies, and gather relevant information
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations
- Promote positive employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of human resources policies and programs
- Act proactively to analyze data, prepare reports, and make recommendations
- Champion new ideas, manage change, and execute on action plans
- Participate in HR projects as assigned
What you bring
- Fluency in English and Portuguese required
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communication, or similar (equivalent experience will also be considered)
- 5+ years of experience in an HR role strongly preferred
- Previous experience supporting HR Operations for US, Mexico, and Brazil
- Previous experience in matrix organization supporting employees in different countries
- Eagerness to operate at the global level, with the proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to employment norms in each of the countries we operate in
- Solution-oriented approach with a big picture mindset
- Active HR certification or the ability to acquire a certification within 1 year
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Mastery of Workday preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proactive and efficient approach with strong follow-through
- Commitment to confidentiality with a high level of integrity
