THE POSITION:
The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department including recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance management and development, employee engagement, and enforcing company policies and practices.
POSITION SUCCESS FACTORS:
1. Positive Employee Satisfaction score greater than 75%
2. Non-exempt positions are filled within three weeks
3. Employee Turnover (voluntary) is less than 12%

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for managerial, professional, and non-exempt roles.
• Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits, researches, and proposes competitive salary and incentive pay programs using benchmark data to attract and retain talent.
• Maintains compliance with Federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Partners with leadership, provides input, and executes the human resource strategy as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
• Provides support and guidance to leadership, management, and other staff when questions or work-related issues arise.
• Develops and executes the essential onboarding and exiting processes.
• In conjunction with managers, conducts disciplinary actions, investigations, and terminations.
• Develops, leads, and monitors the performance management process, making sure that managers are equipped to engage in constructive and ongoing feedback, coaching and identifying/addressing any performance issues.
• Develops and monitors training in development in a professional and manufacturing environment.
• Manages the relationship with PEO partner and health benefits broker, overseeing payroll administration, benefits, employee relations, leave of absences, and other HR-related functions.
• Maintains and updates company records to include employee files, HRIS system, and job descriptions.
• Reviews and recommends changes to company policies and procedures as needed.
• Develops and executes the employee engagement strategies and initiatives.
• Develops and delivers employee communication ensuring content is clear with consistency in branding, theme, voice, and messaging.
• Acts as an HR Generalist, performing all HR related tasks/functions as needed.
• Aids in Finance tasks to include accounts payable and account reconciliations.

PERSONAL SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• A minimum of three years of human resources experience with thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
