Our testing portfolio includes vitamins, minerals, contaminants, pesticides and shelf-life studies.
We test of a variety of instrumentation including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies. We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment by implementing effective HR policies and practices. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of human resources principles, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to addressing organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely filling of vacancies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources.
- Employee Relations:
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.
- Implement career development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Regularly review and benchmark compensation structures to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage the annual performance appraisal process and merit increase programs.
- HR Policies and Compliance:
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and address any non-compliance issues.
- Employee Engagement:
- Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Organize events and activities to promote team building and a positive work culture.
- Gather and analyze employee feedback to make recommendations for improvements.
- HR Administration:
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
- 7+ years in a HR Manager role or in a similar senior operational role.
- 3+ years of management experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn new tasks
- Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently
