Attention all Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is working with a growing client to a hire a new Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the Human Resources department. Your responsibilities
- Understand and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
- Evaluate reports provided to determine employee performance and training needs
- Enhance the organization's Human Resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and Human Resources policies, programs, and practices
- Establish recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
- Head up all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
- Put in place management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
- Take part in interdepartmental meetings with other managers
- A familiarity with the main ideas of employment law and EEOC regulations
- Background in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
- Solid understanding of HR software and strong familiarity of Microsoft Office
- Ability to view issues objectively
- Extensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field
- Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Exemplary ethics, integrity, and standards
- PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desired
- 1+ years of supervisory experience within Human Resources
- 5+ years in Human Resources
- Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
