Pay Rate: $20-$21/hr. BOE
Duties:
- Verify and keep records of outgoing shipments
- Prepares items for shipment using proper tools and packaging materials. Including, construction, crating, shrink wrapping etc.
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
- Maintain accurate inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving/inventory control procedures
- Computer proficiency Microsoft Office. Able to learn and effectively use computerized inventory systems, such as MRP and ERP systems
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with manufacturing, internal support groups, and external transportation carriers
- Attention to detail
- Team-work oriented attitude
- Tow motor and/or forklift experience
- Self-motivated
- LTL experience a must
