The Milford Bank is seeking a FT HR Generalist with a strong emphasis on overseeing the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll for the Bank's staff of 85+ employees. The HR Generalist will be responsible for assisting with all areas of Human Resources, including, but not limited:
Payroll Responsibilities:
Execute end-to-end weekly payroll processing including data entry, computations, and verifying accuracy of payroll transactions.
Submit weekly 401K and Health Savings Account information to plan administrators
Plan and coordinate the production and distribution of all employee tax statements and ACA notifications as required by law.
Ensure compliance with local, state and federal payroll regulations and tax laws
Produce weekly payroll reports and validate weekly payroll journal entries for Accounting/Finance Department.
Generalist Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
Assist with employee benefits programs and annual Open Enrollment to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS systems
Assist with employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Experience:
Proven experience as an HR Generalist and payroll administrator (3-5 years preferred)
Strong knowledge Federal and State employment laws
Administer FMLA, CTPFMLA, EE documentation as needed
Experience with ADP Workforce Now. CPS preferred.
Familiarity with talent management processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
Computer skills essential with Excel, Word, Outlook, etc...
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills a must
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
