JOB DESCRIPTION
As our Human Resources Coordinator, you will be the heartbeat of our HR department, playing a pivotal role in supporting various HR functions and initiatives. From recruiting top talent to fostering a positive work culture, your contributions will be instrumental in driving our organization forward.
HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBLITIES
- Talent Acquisition: Spearhead the recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to ensure we attract the best and brightest talents. Prior recruiting experience will set you apart as a candidate!
- Onboarding and Orientation: Welcome new hires with open arms and facilitate smooth onboarding experiences to set them up for success from day one.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor and mediator, resolving employee concerns and promoting a harmonious work environment.
- HR Administration: Manage HRIS systems, maintain accurate records, and assist with payroll and benefits administration.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities to foster professional growth.
- Culture: Actively identify, plan and promote programs and events that positively influence employee engagement and enhance company culture.
Qualifications:
- MUST be in person in the Newtown, Connecticut office a minimum of one day per week
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 6 months+ experience in Recruiting, Human Resources, or related roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solver with a can-do attitude.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Our office is located in Newtown, Connecticut. While we maintain a highly flexible work culture for all, this position requires the employee to be available to work in our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT a minimum of one day per week. This allows you to take part in our office culture and team development that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Our team working remotely is invited to the office a minimum of two times per year for our Summer Party and again for the Holiday Party. Other team or client meetings may be scheduled at other times during the year. Our office hours are 8:30am-5:30pm.
