Position Description

Position:
The Project Manager will report to the Director of Project Management in the Energy Division.
This position will support the Director of Project Management and the project team in various administrative and organizational tasks.
The Project Manager is responsible for defining the scope of the project, staying on schedule, sticking to a budget, documenting the progress, assessing risks, trouble shooting and leading quality assurance.
This role will coordinate and keep all lines of communication open between all the people working on a project by providing schedules, updates and supporting documents.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Organizing and participating in meetings and providing status updates
Preparing and managing project documents
Assisting and supporting the project and the field service team
Collecting and analyzing project data and metrics
Coordinating between all the various departments which are at work in a project
Weekly reporting to the Director of Project Management
Act as a liaison with all the employees that are involved in the project
Keeping a close watch on the budgets and schedule for each project
Being involved in the project from the planning stages
Helping in the execution of the project
Reporting on the development of the project
Following up on a project even after it is over- lesson learned on the project life cycle
The project manager has to be a hands-on person and be willing to jump in as needed on other things
Must be quick in solving problems
Must be involved and attentive
Should have insight of each department involved, from manufacturing to accounting
Will assist with logistics- things coming and going into the warehouse and project site(s).
Put together process and procedures
Produce Spreadsheets and reporting, and regularly maintaining and filing paperwork

Qualifications

Requirements:
3+ years of overall experience in coordinating, logistics and project support
Must possess excellent customer service skills, decision-making skills, and analytical skills
Must be organized and good at problem solving
Interpersonal Communication (particularly via phone and email)
Time Management must be one of your strengths
Technical Skills and Data-Entry
Must be able to work independently as well as a team player
Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Not required, but nice to have- speaks Spanish or Mandarin
Not required, but nice to have- experience in SAP and Adaptive (planning software)
