HR Generalist - Direct Hire - Bilingual in Hindi & English
$80-85k (depending on experience)
Stable and growing company located in Wheeling is seeking a HR Generalist who can work in a fast-paced environment to join their team! Job Responsibilities:
- Supports the Plant Leadership Team, partnering with functional leaders to drive business performance results and a performance driven culture.
- Provides advice and counsel to managers and employees on employee relations matters consistent with company policy and legal compliance.
- Investigates and resolves employee relations issues.
- Assist in driving core HR processes and tools including labor requirements, training needs, and strategies to reduce employee turnover and improve the employee experience.
- Administers various human resources programs including annual open enrollment, performance management and employee recognition programs.
- Analyzes performance metrics (i.e turnover, conversions, engagement, safety etc.,) draws insights from data, assists in developing action plans to improve.
- Collaborates with temporary agencies, supervisors and talent acquisition team to ensure optimum staffing levels. Manages plant recruitment efforts for non-exempt / hourly employees and manages our temp vendor relationships to ensure optimum staffing levels.
- Provides exceptional customer services to employees.
- Perform other duties or special projects as required.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Responsible for company compliance with federal and state laws pertaining to all personnel matters. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Supports safety management related activities and safety training.
Job Requirements:
Year(s) of Experience: 1+ year of HR Generalist experience
Industry: food manufacturing preferred
Education: Bachelors Degree
Software: MS office, HRIS
AR:Bilingual in Hindi
