Position Summary:
As an HR Generalist, you will serve as a key member of the HR team, responsible for various aspects of human resources with a primary focus on recruitment. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and recruiting service technicians, installers, Engineers, project managers, and sales with a focus on technicians/installers. The role involves developing targeted recruitment strategies, sourcing qualified candidates, and facilitating the selection and onboarding process. This position is also responsible for performing HR related duties, working closely with management and employees to support various HR functions. such as employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance. As an HR Generalist, you will work closely with hiring managers and department heads to fulfill staffing needs while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational requirements.
Major Responsibilities Include:
1. Recruitment Strategy Development:Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, utilizing various channels such as job boards, social media, career fairs, networking, and employee referrals.
2. Sourcing and Candidate Screening: Utilize proactive sourcing techniques to identify and engage qualified candidates. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidate suitability based on skills, experience, and cultural fit.
3. Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Prepare interview materials, including job descriptions, interview questions, and evaluation criteria.
4. Candidate Experience Management: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication, feedback, and support. Address candidate inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
5. Onboarding and Orientation: Work closely with HR and hiring managers to organize and facilitate a successful onboarding plan for new hires, including completion of necessary paperwork and organizing initial orientation sessions. Coordinate with various departments to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
6. Performance Management: Support the performance management process by providing guidance to managers and employees on performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans. Assist in the implementation of performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions as necessary.
7. Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed. Assist in resolving employee relations issues through effective communication, mediation, and conflict resolution techniques. Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct as required, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures.
8. HR Compliance: Stay informed about federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance. Update HR policies and procedures as needed to reflect changes in legislation or company requirements.
9. HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HR databases. Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management review. Assist in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or recruitment roles.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and technologies, including applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media platforms, and technical job boards.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, AIRS) is a plus.

Compensation:
- This is a full-time exempt position.
- Base salary range is $62K-$70K.
- Bonus eligible.
