Our AAC Talent Success Team Department is expanding, and we are actively seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. Emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, legal compliance, change management, employee engagement, and budget management, the HR Generalist serves as a deliberate mentor dedicated to creating and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing various aspects of the human resources function within AAC and its acquired practices.
- Expanding and exercising strategies that facilitate organizational growth and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Overseeing employee relations, performance management procedures, and coordinating training programs.
- Administering employee benefits, ensuring that these programs align with the organization's overall goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Leveraging data to provide leadership with insights on HR-related metrics and trends.
- Reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, and working collaboratively with providers and hiring teams on both static and ad-hoc job requisitions that need to be filled.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with legal and regulatory HR best practices and strategies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capable of managing workload independently and with confidence.
The HR Generalist is a full-time, full-benefit, salaried position, may be remote, but offers a hybrid opportunity for candidates located within driving distance of one of our local practices. The HR Generalist will not have any direct reports and will report remotely to the Director of Employee Engagement. Travel may be required from time to time to our Chicago headquarters (if the candidate is not based in Chicago), or to practices in our different markets, including travel to events and job fairs. All travel expenses, hotel stay, and lodging will be at the expense of AMS.
