SUMMARY:The Human Resources Admin Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Human Resources department with providing guidance, support, and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of the Human Resources department. The HR Admin Coordinator's main responsibility is to assist the Corporate HR department in every aspect of human resources by responding to queries of employee. In addition, the HR Admin Coordinator is responsible for assisting with recruiting, and onboarding for new hires, completing reference and background checks and drug screens, conducting exit interviews and providing summaries, employee engagement, and supporting projects assigned by the Human Resources Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary Duties:- Answering payroll related questions for employees
- Distribute paychecks to the labs. Follow guidelines in payroll procedure.
- Submit any employee payroll changes including the following: new hires, terminations, department changes, time off (PTO, sick, leave of absence), employee data changes, salary changes, and other miscellaneous payroll changes.
- Deliver orientation and onboarding sessions as required for new hires.
- Running, Inputting and Maintaining HR reports
- Creating, monitoring, and administering employee badges.
- Assisting with the full recruiting process, to include pre-screening applicants, setting up interviews, scheduling Harrison Assessments, completing reference checks, completing offer letters, sending background checks and drug screens and scheduling orientation.
- Assign required HOYA University training for employees per training requirements.
- Manage employee vision benefit program.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide summaries to leadership.
- Assist with addressing employees HR related question and concerns.
- Assist with company's employee engagement initiative.
- Develop and implement ideas for the improvements for employee relations.
- Support the Corporate Human Resources department in general communications and campaigns including organizational announcements, survey updates and wellness campaigns.
- Perform other duties and complete special projects as requested.

Education:- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associates degree in HR preferred.
- 3 to 5 years clerical, secretarial or administrative experience required.
- Previous experience in Human Resources strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to observe the posted safety requirements in the areas they are working.
- Through understanding of Hoya's Injury and Illness Prevention Program and safety policies
- Closed toe and heel shoes are required.
