Phlebotomy Education Instructor & Administrative Coordinator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile individual to join our team as a Phlebotomy Education Instructor & Administrative Coordinator. This role involves developing course curriculum for Phlebotomy Education, providing administrative support, and conducting DOT/NON-DOT drug testing for clients. While previous phlebotomy experience and instructor experience are preferred, they are not required. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong multitasking abilities, and demonstrate punctuality and dependability. Please note that this position requires passing background checks, drug screening, and reference checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development:
- Develop and enhance course curriculum for Phlebotomy Education, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Create engaging learning materials, presentations, and practical exercises to facilitate effective instruction.
- Instruction:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in phlebotomy techniques to students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Provide guidance and feedback to students to enhance their skills and proficiency in phlebotomy procedures.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as class scheduling, maintaining student records, and coordinating resources for instructional purposes.
- Handle inquiries from students and faculty promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with administrative procedures and regulations.
- Drug Testing:
- Conduct DOT and NON-DOT drug testing for clients following established protocols and procedures.
- Collect specimens using proper phlebotomy techniques and maintain accurate documentation of test results.
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity throughout the testing process.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Previous experience as an instructor is desirable but not required.
- Strong multitasking abilities and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and reference checks.
Training:
Training will be provided for curriculum development, administrative tasks, and drug testing procedures as necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
