The City of Sugar Land is seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinatorin the Department of Customer Experience.

If so, please consider applying for the Administrative Coordinator position today! As the Administrative Coordinatoryou will:
  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience Supervisor and Data & Knowledge Strategist to gather and leverage input and statistics for operational improvements, improving morale, recognition of employees, and implementing sustainable solutions to department challenges.
  • Assist and monitor the preparation of various agendas, agenda items and communication including City Council, boards and commissions.
  • Act as payroll and accounts payable liaison; manage year-end procedures.
  • Continually organize and prioritize work to ensure deadlines and schedules are met.
  • Maintain employee data reporting and performance records to provide milestone reports and other relevant data.
  • Assist Customer Experience Contact Center staff with projects or inquiries as needed.
  • Required to work as an essential employee before, during and after an emergency or disaster, whether natural or acts of war.
  • Stay abreast of, and comply with, all City and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Director or his/her designee
Formal Education:
  • Associate's Degree required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or Public Management or an otherwise related degree from an accredited school or university preferred.
Relatable Work Experience:
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in the functional areas of project management, office management or a related discipline.
  • Municipal experience is preferred
  • Additional relevant work experience resulting in acceptable proficiency levels in the above knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted in lieu of specific education requirements.
Training (License and/or Certification):
  • Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
