Job Description
We are looking for a full-time employee Bookkeeper responsible for performing bookkeeping for small business clients of the CPA firm. This position will work directly with accounting staff and clients to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using QuickBooks or EasyAcct Client Write-up software.
The right candidate will be willing and able to:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Be able to reconcile bank accounts
- Be able to reconcile credit card and other liability accounts
- Be able to make journal entries for payroll
- What You’ll Need:
- 3-5 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience
- Strong organization, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Diligent work ethic and dedication to providing superior client service
- Possess integrity, be trustworthy, dependable, and a team player
- Excellent communication skills – oral, written, and interpersonal
- Ability to prepare interim and annual financial statements.
- Experience in managing multiple client engagements at the same time
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is required
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
