Full Job Description
seeking a Civil Engineerimmediately. The position will require the knowledge and interest in various types of Civil Engineering projects. The ideal candidate will split their time between the office and field. It is expected that this candidate has basics skills in performing engineering, land surveying and construction observation. All projects are located throughout Massachusetts and will require traveling at times. Great opportunity for an engineer who wants to be involved in a variety of Civil Engineering projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to our team to help meet client deliverables on various projects
- Develop plans, specifications, and layouts for residential, commercial, and public works improvement projects. Some examples of project types are improvements of roadways, water, sewer, drainage, and wastewater systems.
- Construction Administration/Construction Observation
- Land Surveying
- Prepare and present technical reports
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- 0 to 5 years of Civil Engineering experience
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred
- Experience in AutoCAD (Civil3D a plus)
- Experience with the use of survey equipment such as total stations, data collectors and GPS units preferred
- Attention to detail and team-oriented attitude.
- Excellent math, communication, and organizational skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Use basic hand tools
- Travel across rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces
- Lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds
- Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements
- Remain in a standing position for extended periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,477.64 - $75,000.00 per year
