Job Summary: Jones & Henry is currently seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to join the Infrastructure Department in the Toledo Office. The Infrastructure Department oversees the design of municipal and private wastewater collection; including pump stations and gravity sewer, water distribution; including water towers and water mains, and storm water conveyance and storage.
This position will be under the direction of a professional engineer within the department as well as the Director of Infrastructure. Responsibilities include technical and computational design, assisting with the development of plans using Civil3D, compiling specifications and contract documents, attending client and construction meetings, and overseeing the construction phase of projects. Occasional travel to project locations will be required to gather information during the design phase and follow up on construction progress.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor or Master of Civil Engineering, Engineer in Training (EI) or ability and willingness to obtain and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D
Preferred Qualifications: 0-1 years of experience
Position Status: Full-Time
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
Minimum Physical Demands: Ability to travel to and maneuver around project sites. Sitting, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting and moving up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity to perform responsibilities.
