Job Title: Communication Creative Media Specialist
Purpose Statement:
This role helps to ignite a passion to follow Jesus by strategizing, implementing, and executing Creative Media for key areas on the College Park Church Communication Team as the team stewards the communication strategies and partners with the Directional Team, elders and ministries. The Communication Creative Media Specialist will come alongside the Communication Team and Production Team to build automations that will serve the team, the staff at large, and the church as a whole. The Communication Creative Media Specialist will serve as both a leader and participant in art direction that meets brand standards and communicates the vision and mission.

Responsibilities:
Communication Team
- Manage media on Sunday mornings. This includes but is not limited to the creation of all Sunday service needs, Sunday morning staff huddle, social media posting, hosting Facebook live during the first service, and working with Communication volunteers and contractors as needed who have responsibilities on specific Sunday mornings.
- Strategize, implement, build, execute and document the automations for Sunday worship services (audio, video, etc.) being available on College Park Church's Content Management System, Church Management System, App, and Sermons Podcast.
- Manage the ideation phase of Tier 1-3 projects. This includes but is not limited to attending meetings with ministry partners to hear, engage, and get clarity on vision; working with Communication Team and others to move this phase of the project forward per the agreed to scope; and ensuring the direction and plan is clear for the activation and execution stages of the project
- Coordinate key promotional campaigns in partnership with the Communication Digital Content Coordinator. This includes but is not limited to ideating how to present and building the digital deliverables for media expression
- Coordinate with Graphic Designer, Project Manager, and Digital Content Coordinator to ensure the team has all that's needed in order to create the package of deliverables for key events and initiatives
- Work with Project Manager and other video leaders at College Park to build vision, plan, story, and timeline for larger projects. Work with Director of Communication to determine what will be outsourced and the best video producer for the job.
- Give creative input for College Park Church communication projects
- Assist Communication Digital Content Coordinator and Graphic Designer with the creation and editing of key deliverables as needed
- In partnership with the Communication Project Manager and Graphic Designer, build and document processes and procedures for the ideation phase of projects tier 1-3. This includes but is not limited to the check-out/check-in process for all Communication Video, Audio, and Photography equipment
- In partnership with the Graphic Designer, Project Manager and ministry leaders, operate as "brand manager" for 3-5 ministry partners, ensuring that the brand guide is followed.
Other Staff Leadership
- Assist with the development and application of the vision of College Park Church
- Maintain good communication, cooperation, and coordination with all staff and departments of the church
- Live out College Park Church's mission, core values, and culture of depth, care, creativity, impact
Education & Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to make decisions independently.
- Must exhibit mature Christian character which includes regular disciplines such as Bible reading, prayer, and participation in church life.
- Be a current member of College Park Church or willing to pursue membership within 6 months.
Work Schedule
- This is a full-time, exempt role totaling approximately 40+ hours weekly, Sunday-Thursday
- Attendance at all church and department meetings and events as applicable for this position is required. This includes staff meetings, weekly service review meetings and Worship-Based Prayer Nights.
