Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as content owner for all pages on allisontransmission.com, walkerdiecasting.com, and vantage-power.com - Train personnel and agencies to update the site and act as an experienced contact for them. Organize ongoing updates to the marketing pages of the site with the regional personnel. Act as primary MSS contact in website workflow. Implement website refresh for marketing pages for all languages in conjunction with regional Allison and agency personnel and act as liaison between the project vendors and Marketing. Ensure that Marketing participants understand their roles and responsibilities with respect to ongoing updates to the site. Lead web translations process.

  • Creative agency project management - Manage branding and communications projects with global agencies, including our creative agencies globally as well as our Partner Agency Network. Assume leadership role with internal customers to create project briefs and establish budgets. Present projects to creative agency, manage timelines, and lead editing process.

  • Digital Marketing and Communications - Lead overall activity concerning digital marketing, organize conference calls with appropriate marketing or IT personnel to discuss digital marketing needs and identify requirements. Create digital marketing plans and coordinate with agencies and regions as required. Create and implement email and social media campaigns resulting in recipient actions. Develop and manage landing pages to support digital marketing campaigns.

  • Social Media - Lead social strategies and content creation across Allison social presence. Enhance Allison social presence by recommending new ways to connect with our customers and key collaborators.

  • Search Engine Optimization - Increase web and mobile search rankings through appropriate keywords, meta-tags, links, content, etc. Manage execution and recommendations by the creative agency of record.

  • Brand Connect - Serve as site owner for Brand Connect. Provide user training, regularly update architecture, uploading of media.

  • Reporting - Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Create monthly/quarterly analytics reports.

Qualifications
REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or Digital Media, or related field
  • Seven to ten (7-10) years relevant experience in marketing communications
  • Experience with email marketing software platforms (such as Exact Target and Critical Impact)
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to analyze data and recommend a course of action to achieve results
  • High level of attention to detail, cultural sensitivity, ability to coordinate multiple tasks at the same time
  • High degree of initiative and ability to work independently
  • Flexibility to global time differences in meeting schedules and event timing
  • Proven working experience implementing digital marketing techniques on web and mobile platforms
  • Experience with digital tools to target and empower audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, advise and motivate
  • Experience with SiteFinity or other website content management tools
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience building A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Experience setting up and fine tuning website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Web Trends, etc.)
  • Working Programming knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong digital marketing programming and database skills
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and standard methodologies in online and mobile marketing and measurement
  • Experience with social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Facebook, as well as platforms applied to manage content and posting, such as Falcon

PREFERRED:
  • Google Analytics certification preferred
  • International business exposure
  • Experience or knowledge of website design, including with platforms outside of SiteFinity.
