You will work as a consultant contractor (1099) for this role to work for a government agency, however your contract will be directly with errorHandle. We are in the process of submitting a proposal for a government contract and need to submit the selected candidate details as part of the requirements for different positions and this position is one of the fulfilments.

This role will provide 24 by 7 support for all monitoring of IT related systems,
including holidays and weekends for Operations Support Staff members.
Responsibilities:
Monitor all components of the IT infrastructure; networks, servers, hardware,
applications and associated jobs in a 24 hour, 7-day environment.
Real time alert analysis, prioritization, troubleshooting, notification, escalation
management, incident handling and problem resolution of events threatening any
aspect of the IT infrastructure.
Pro-active maintenance and governance over the health of IT systems and
infrastructure to ensure that all application and systems availability targets are met.
Assume complete event ownership through to resolution and reporting.
Provide first and second level help desk support for all IT related technical problems
and services.
Guideless senior technicians and staff in the performance of their tasks.
Plan, design and engineer solutions and projects to be implemented within the
section.
Installation of Monitoring agent.
Monitor capacity level.
Create Reports.
Interact with Storage, Server, Database, VM teams
Review all system events log.
Check for configuration errors, including verification of system software.
Check usage levels.
Check for runaway processes.
Configure Oracle Database Alerts.
Configure SQL Database Alerts.
Qualifications:
