Purpose
The purpose of this position is to monitor and complete unapplied payments in Vitech. Additionally, this position will support the overall collections process within the Contributions & Enrollment department. This position will work closely with both internal and external partners to reconcile unapplied payments, delinquencies, and other collection-related work items.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- Tracks, manages and completes unapplied credits in Vitech, following up with the appropriate internal and external partners, as needed
- Work with department leadership to implement a strategy and process to manage outstanding unapplied credits
- Works with internal and external partners, like Operations, Minimum Standards, Finance, Collections, the union, Employers and Legal to research and document outstanding amounts on employer accounts
- Works closely with internal technical resources to ensure PowerBI reporting and Vitech are reporting correctly
- Assist in the development of process and procedure that address collections-related work items
- Sets goals and achieve measurable results by creating metrics regarding unapplied credits and other collections-related work items
- Work with the training department to collect, organize and create training on current trending regarding credits, debits and employer accounts

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Years of Experience and Knowledge
- 2 ~ 3 years of related experience minimum
- Must be proficient in Department data systems; Vitech, PowerBI, ADS and OLE
Education, Licenses, and Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent work experience required
Skills and Abilities
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) required
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Active listening skills and creative problem-solving abilities required
- Demonstrates strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally in an organization
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Intermediate level Microsoft Excel
Salary range for this position: $52,800~$64,600. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday~Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) with potential for hybrid work-from-home arrangement.
