Collections Specialist

As a Project Accountant/ Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability of the company while upholding our values of professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Contact and communicate with customers regarding outstanding debts, outstanding invoices, and overdue payments in a respectful and professional manner.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging to ensure timely collections and follow-up on delinquent accounts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities, interactions, and negotiations.
• Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on collection activities and account statuses to management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding their accounts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Proficient in using financial software, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Hours: Monday thru Friday 7am- 5pm * This position is 100% in office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
