If you are a detail-oriented professional with expertise in Desktop QuickBooks and a deep understanding of journal entries, 1099 forms, payroll reconciliation, and multiple companies interchange transfers, we'd like to hear from you.

Job Description:

As a Closing and Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the closing process for projects and managing billing procedures. This position requires a strong grasp of financial software, particularly Excel and QuickBooks. Knowledge of the Professional HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing Services industry is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the closing process of projects and service orders.

Generate and process accurate invoices for services provided.

Ensure billing accuracy, including labor hours, materials, and any additional charges.

Handle billing inquiries and discrepancies with a high level of professionalism.

Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Work with the finance team to analyze data and generate financial reports.

Utilize Excel and QuickBooks for financial analysis and reporting.

Knowledge of the Professional HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing Services industry is a plus.

Qualifications:

Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in billing and closing roles.

Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks is a must.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of the Professional HVAC, Electrical & Plumbing Services industry is a significant advantage.

Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $32.79 per hour
