Entry Level Medical/Dental Billing Specialist (Oral Surgery)

Typical Day:

As a key member of the Insurance and Billing Team in Revenue Cycle, you play a critical role in posting payments, notifying patients, and supporting the health of AR to achieve USOSM standards. They positively communicate with and support other RCM staff, patients, partner practices and insurance companies to maximize reimbursement and insure rapid account resolution.

Our typical workday is 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday – Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Our work week is typically 40 hours. Working hours may vary depending upon departmental needs and may include a work from home option.

Position Requirements

The most important requirement of this position is the capability to genuinely serve our patients, Partner Practices, department, and coworkers. We have found that successful candidates have the following work and educational histories:

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Previous front office dental or medical experience.
• Previous dental, insurance, billing, or related experience.
• Work and/or educational histories which demonstrate growth.
• A record of taking initiative and ownership of your position
• Ability to communicate in a positive and clear manner.
