Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
- Provide support during annual audits and tax filings
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, or Sage
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Familiarity with payroll processing and relevant regulations
- Ability to prepare accurate financial statements and reports
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
