JOB DESCRIPTION
Alex Papachristidis Interiors is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our team. You will use Account Edge and Studio Designer to accurately record financial transactions and deliver financial reports for multiple interior designer clients. Must be a good communicator, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and work collaboratively with team in a fast-paced interior design office. Position is in office full-time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Maintaining accounts receivable and payable, manage payroll and business insurance
* Enter transactional activity into Account Edge and Studio Designer
* Reconcile bank, credit card accounts and petty cash
* Produce and review reports to support client projects
* Provide invoicing support
* Prepare monthly sales tax filings
* Provide day-to-day account management, client relations, and communication
* Prepare financial reports for CPA
JOB REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bookkeeping experience REQUIRED - preferred experience working in interior design office
* Account Edge and Studio Designer experience or a willingness to be a proactive, independent learner to develop proficiency
* Proven ability to work effectively and professionally with clients and as part of a team
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Detail-oriented and highly organized
* Demonstrated ability to independently problem-solve and manage deadlines
* College degree in business, accounting, or similar
