Bilingual Receptionist - Full-Time
Busy Specialist office is seeking a Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist that is professional, dependable & responsible.

Overview: Position includes greeting patients and their families as they come into our offices, verifying patient information, distributing & collecting patient registration forms, electronically filing patient forms and documents in our EMR, collecting for copays and co-insurance & scheduling appointments while maintaining patient confidentiality. This position may also perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Must have own reliable transportation with a valid Driver's License.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish with effective oral & written communication skills in both languages.
• Experience of at least 1-3 months using an Electronic Health/Medical Record (HER/EMR) system in a medical setting.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Familiarity with insurance company policies & procedures is preferred.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks, following through to completion.
• Maintains regular, reliable, on-time and on-site attendance as scheduled.
• Maintains positive, courteous relationships with fellow employees, consultants & representatives as well as patients & their families.
• Maintain a HIPPAA compliant working environment.
• Professional appearance is required.
• Excellent phone etiquette is required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Medical office environment that may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances.
• Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.

No nights, evenings or weekends.
