- Participate, collaborate and/or implement The Arc of Chester County’s 5-year Strategic Plan.
- Complete all training and qualifications requirements.
- Performs the necessary steps in the hiring process of AWC Support Service Professionals (SSPs) for participants, including tracking the progress of the applicant in HR spreadsheets, assist in collecting all required pre-employment clearances and screenings, such as the PA State Criminal clearance, Medicaid fraud clearances, drug screen, driving history, FBI clearance (when required), child abuse clearance (when required), etc.
- Create personnel files for SSPs making sure all necessary documents are collected and completed properly before moving forward with the hiring process.
- Complete and send out required AWC correspondences, such as offer letters and/or rejection letters to new hires and/or applicants.
- Input all necessary SSP new hire information into HR database.
- Update demographic information for SSPs and Managing Employers in AWC databases(s).
- Perform and maintain filing needed for all personnel files and clearance files for all SSPs.
- Provide current versions of the new hire packets and SSP training packets upon request. Update the packets with new or revised documents provided by supervisor.
- Assist in tracking and filing SSP annual training.
- Provide coverage for other administrative staff, as needed.
- Answer and return SSP phone calls, answer questions, reset passwords, access databases, etc. as needed.
- Participate in departmental, agency, and other meetings as needed and required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required, with at least 3 years administrative experience.
- 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
- Consent and completion of all required background checks.
- Current and valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and registration with acceptable driving record as per The Arc’s Personnel Policy.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, to set priorities and follow through on details
- Proficient computer skills and competency in Microsoft Suite Office products
- Must have own reliable vehicle
