- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies
- Utilize accounting software to input and track financial data
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records
```Qualifications:```
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
-Prior experience handling cash
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools
- Excellent understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger reconciliation
- Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Ability to generate accurate financial reports and perform financial report writing
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
