Job Description:
Sensorium AVR, a home technology consulting company, is seeking to fill an administrative Assistant and Assistant Bookkeeper position with our company and help provide various clerical and accounting services.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist bookkeeper in accurately collecting billing hours on a daily basis and help prepare client invoices
- Record sales orders and prepare and update procurement sheets
- Perform data entry and maintain inventory accuracy against daily received or delivered products
- Office support, answering telephone inquiries, provide service and customer support and write job reports
- Provide updates to the bookkeeper on any outstanding orders and unpaid invoices
- Assist principals with estimates and proposals
- Handle day-to-day transactions such as package shipping and receiving and handling
- Able to lift and carry with easy up to 50 lbs
- Communicate daily with suppliers on pending orders and provide solutions to outstanding non-technical issues
Skills:
- Proficient in English language with excellent communications skills as wells as organization skills and attention to detail a must
- Proficiency with Intuit QuickBooks Online
- Adherence to laws and best practices in regard to dealing with customers and suppliers
- Understanding of MSRP, and manufacturer cost and markup
- Proficiency with MS Office, Excel and Google docs, billing and formulas
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects in real time
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude, be positive and business savvy
- Highly professional, focused and extremely reliable
- Operates independently with attention to timeliness and detail
- Experience or interest in home technology a big plus
Full-time: $25.00 per hour
