Job Title:Nature Center Assistant Manager & Bookkeeper
Job Description:
We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Nature Center's Assistant Manager & Financial Administrator. This multifaceted role involves maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various aspects of our Nature Center operations. Salary & Benefits:
Salary: $42,000 to $56,000

Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping Monthly:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date book-keeping records using accounting software.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial accuracy.
- Gift Shop Lead:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nature Center's gift shop.
- Manage inventory, restocking, and order processing.
- Ensure the gift shop reflects the mission and values of the Nature Center.
- Administrative and Office Support:
- Provide administrative support to the office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining office files and documents.
- Assist with School Field trip organization and booking
- Membership Support:
- Assist in the administration of membership programs.
- Process new memberships and renewals.
- Communicate with members and address inquiries.
- Welcome Desk Support:
- Greet visitors and provide information about the Nature Center.
- Handle admission fees and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Ensure a positive and welcoming experience for all visitors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial management principles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Passion for nature and a commitment to promoting environmental awareness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Desire to organize, manage, and support a small gift shop
- Willingness to greet visitors and assist members
- Experience with Financial and membership management systems.
