Raba Kistner is seeking an energetic Administrative Coordinator, to join our CoMET team in La Porte, TX. Responsible for all administrative and secretarial needs within the assigned unit or department, including but not limited to supervision of other clerical support personnel, providing marketing and proposal development support, and supporting project managers and other project professionals in the execution of projects.
- Perform all typing duties (reports, correspondence, etc.) in a neat, accurate and professional manner.
- Assist in preparing nontechnical portion of proposals with the full understanding of the importance of producing a "winning" proposal.
- Work closely with professional staff to ensure timely submittals of all sections to resolve all issues prior to quality check.
- Demonstrate a high level of competence with the ability to apply skills and knowledge to practical problems on a daily basis.
- Posses professionalism and the ability to deal with clients and staff effectively in support of business development and project activities.
- Maintain appointment schedule for Supervisor.
- Screen and route incoming calls in a courteous manner.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and updated file of master job sheets, cross-reference files, and client list.
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and maintain the proper flow of workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Serve as backup for other administrative staff.
- Require exercise of considerable initiative, independent judgement and discretion. Maintain the security of confidential information
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or (General Education Development) GED and a minimum of two years administrative experience in a professional, fast-paced environment.
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Minimum typing speed of 65-70 wpm. Ability to multitask and posses excellent communication, organizational, and judgment skills. Ability to read and understand instructions, labels, reports, etc. Ability to effectively communicate information both written and oral and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
