The Matthew Ditzenberger Agency with American Family Insurance is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR). As a CSR, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service and support to our valued clients. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing accurate information about insurance products, coverage options, and claims procedures.
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate insurance plans, making policy changes, and processing renewals, while adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Provide prompt and efficient resolution to customer concerns, complaints, and issues, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance customers' insurance coverage and ensure their evolving needs are met.
- Maintain accurate and updated customer records and policy documentation using our CRM system.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in insurance customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult customer situations with tact and empathy.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload effectively.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and building positive relationships with customers.
- Property and Casualty and Life insurance licensing is preferred before starting and is required after beginning employment.
