SalaryThe Phillips Academy Music Department seeks a part-time Administrative Assistant to assist in all administrative aspects of supporting a busy and thriving department. The part-time Administrative Assistant will work with a full-time Department Coordinator and report to the Department Chair. The specific schedule will be collaboratively determined (20-25 hours per week). This is an academic year (10 months) position, with the possibility of assisting Summer Session.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, Learning Management system (Canvas or similar), communication tools, payroll and human resources software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for working in a diverse community and working effectively with students, other staff, adjunct instructors, and faculty
This is a part-time position which is non-benefits eligible except those required by law.
