Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position requires proficiency in computer skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the office staff and management team
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, and filing documents
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for the office staff
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Perform bookeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking
- Credentialing medical staff at healthcare facilities
- Serve as a personal assistant to the management team
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office is preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Quickbooks
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
