Responsibilities
- Answer phone, take messages, and direct calls as needed
- Greet patients
- Handle and coordinate active calendars
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Ensure file organization based on office protocol
- Process patient charges and payments
- Basic payment recording
- Work with insurance companies about patient coverage
- Provide ad hoc support around office as needed
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to multitask
- Basic math skills
- Ability to learn and use data entry programs
- Ability to copy/fax/scan documents
- Filing in alphabetical order
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work for a minimum of 4 hours in front of a computer
- Adequate typing ability
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
