Position Summary:
Reports to the Vice President, Information Technology. The IT Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the IT department. This person will have administrative and finance responsibilities requiring discretion and accuracy in compliance with company policies and management directives.
Essential Functions:
- Provide general office management, including overall monitoring, prioritizing, and supervising administrative support and clerical functions.
- Assist department with budget including ordering of IT equipment or services.
- Maintain calendar of events, schedules, appointments and take meeting minutes.
- Coordinate meeting/conference arrangements such as time, place, attendees, and agenda.
- Coordinate with service vendors.
- Assist in coordinating special reports; maintain control of reports due in or out of the office; maintain correspondence control.
- Make travel arrangements, complete travel advance requests and expense reports.
- Maintain asset tracker for accuracy and completeness.
The incumbent is expected to perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED and three years experience in office management, finance, or administrative assistance. Knowledge of technology, both hardware and software including Microsoft Office. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Unless waived by management, a valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record is required.
