Southern Utah Home Builders Association is a nonprofit organization in Washington, UT. We coordinate events and programs to help our members grow their business. We also plan community service projects, provide education to our members, and award annual scholarships. We have a positive-work environment that is fast-paced with a variety of responsibilities.
Work Shift: Monday-Thursday 9 am - 5 pm (adjust hours for lunch)
Qualifications:
-Individual needs to have proven experience as Administrative Assistant.
-Be reliable, have strong work ethic, positive attitude, honest, and excellent written & verbal communication skills.
-Effective time management skills with ability to prioritize work in fast-paced environment.
-Must be proficient in MS Office products.
-Graphic design skills very important to create flyers, newsletters, emails, etc.
-Ability to problem-solve while working well with a team.
Duties:
-Primary individual in greeting visitors in-person and on the phone, therefore friendly attitude is essential.
-Provides assistance to callers, answers questions, forwards calls, takes messages, problem-solves, etc.
-Assists Executive Officer and Staff with event coordination, various projects, and promotions.
-Coordinates annual networking events.
-Coordinates welcome program for new members including ordering gifts, making personal visits, collecting and organizing feedback, etc.
-Creates newsletters, sign-in sheets, promotional flyers, emails, surveys, etc. Tracks responses with data entry.
-Assists with events, take pictures and videos, promotes organization, good works to members through implementing effective social media program.
-Make member calls to invite to various events, meetings, etc.
-Schedules meetings, orders & pick-up meals, organizes office and stocks kitchen and meeting rooms.
-Performs monthly mailings, maintain files, & performs other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
