The Administrative Assistant I will report to the Administrative Assistant Manager.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant I will assist the tax processing staff with the efficient operation of the office by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assists in making client appointments with staff, coordinating schedules and meeting spaces when appropriate.
• Answers and transfers phone calls to ensure clients are matched with the appropriate staff for their needs.
• Assists with billing questions and collection of payments.
• Helps initiate tax returns by scanning client information.
• Works with other tax processors to maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
• Helps respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
• Maintains the appearance of the office waiting areas and meeting spaces.
• Maintains office supplies and coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
