Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our office. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to multitask effectively. This person will assit the Vice President with certain daily tasks and act as their personal assistant when needed. Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and maintaining office supplies
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with order entry and data management
- Coordinate projects and assist with project coordination tasks
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Transcribe documents and prepare meeting minutes
- Provide customer service support to clients or customers as needed
Skills:
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Social Media/Digital Media and Marketing skills a plus ( instagram, facebook, mailchimp, email campaigns etc.)
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of office procedures and equipment
- Experience working in an office or as a receptionist is a plus
