Job Description
Purpose
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for data management, customer service and collections experience. Ability to multi task and communicate with others in the department.
Essential Job Functions
Perform administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors
Read and route incoming mail
Organize and maintain file system, files correspondence and other records
Answer and screen telephone calls, and arrange conference calls
Customer Service
Credit & Collections
Coordinate schedules and make appointments
Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes
Order and maintain supplies, and arrange for equipment maintenance
May perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and employees
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Very organized and high attention to detail
Education/Experience
< 1 year of office experience
High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Working Environment
Normal Office Environment
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Frequently communicates with employees and customers
