Background on The Anderson Firm, P.C. and its culture:
The Anderson Firm, P.C. (TAF) was formed by Trevor Anderson in June of 2020 as a way to develop and provide value-based service to entrepreneurs, healthcare providers, cannabis companies and other closely-held businesses. He believed the existing attorney-client relationship and structure of traditional law firms created a myopic relationship with broken incentive structures. TAF combines years of experience in business consulting and coaching with unparalleled legal expertise to deliver solutions… not billable hours. The Firm serves its clients from the perspective of a single driving force – create massive value. Too often, clients are given legal guidance and recommendations that do not fit their strategic plans or that are wholly detached from the operational realities of its business. At TAF, we realize that legal advice serves one purpose, to help businesses grow.
Key Qualities of the Ideal Candidate:
1. Attitude – Attitude is everything at TAF and we understand that a positive attitude combined with curiosity and perseverance can create solutions that skill alone cannot. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who is not dissuaded by challenges and attempts to overcome them independently but is willing and able to ask for help when necessary.
2. Desire to Grow – TAF is a young business, made up of young professionals and is constantly looking for other like-minded individuals to help us to improve and grow. This entrepreneurial mentality extends to its team members who are encouraged to expand their own skillsets through courses, training, and self-guided learning. The firm believes its successes are the consequence of teamwork and should be shared by all its employees – the ideal candidate is excited about opportunity to add independent, solution-based value and grow with the Firm.
3. Appreciates the Value of Autonomy – TAF is a hybrid work environment in which great independence and autonomy can be earned. Team members are able to enjoy these perks because of the client service and results they deliver. An ideal candidate will be able to self-start and drive tasks and projects to completion with minimal oversight.
4. Comfort with Navigating Software and Applications – TAF uses a cloud based firm management software called Clio. While prior experience in Clio is not necessary, team members must be comfortable in learning to use and navigate this platform.
5. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint – This team member will often utilize these programs to prepare onboarding documentation, prepare and manipulate financial data and Key Performance Indicators, and present project status updates. Prior experience and a strong grasp on the fundamental capabilities of each are a plus.
