Responsibilities

• Prioritizes vendor invoices according to type of invoices, vendors name and payment terms.
• Enters vendor invoices into Visual ERP System, verifies that proper approvals have been obtained; either by a 3-way match with a purchase order, inventory receiver and invoice, or other valid approval.
• Codes charges appropriately in compliance with general ledger chart of accounts.
• Verifies all invoices for Sales/Use Tax eligibility.
• Vouchers all overhead and credit card invoices and back-up.
• Maintains and updates vendor files for W9 information as needed and assists with end of year 1099 filing.
• Resolves invoice and un-vouchered receipt discrepancies
• Audits all freight bills against freight manifests
• Reconcile month end AP aging to general ledger.
• Process weekly vendor checks.
• Reconcile vendor statements to outstanding vendor aging.
• Company points of contact regarding all vendor communications.
• Resolve all vendor invoice issues, including invoice amount to P.O. amount.
• Other projects or duties as assigned by Controller.

Requirements:

• AA degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with VISUAL ERP preferred.
• Full time schedule available during normal business hours
• Requires good written and oral communication as well as knowledge of office equipment.
• Ability to work independently and the skill to interact with all levels and departments.
