We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and managing all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers. This is a crucial role in our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process.

```Responsibilities```
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support

```Qualifications```
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Familiarity with tax regulations related to accounts payable
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., UltiPro, Paychex)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of journal entries, debits, credits, and general ledger coding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
