OBJECTIVE

Accounts Payable Temp This position work closely with the Accounts Payable Specialist and Accounts Payable Coordinator to help reconcile and catch-up vendors that are behind, pull invoice from online websites, and send out invoices to relevant parties. Also, will assist in identifying duplicated entries in the accounting software to close out and help keep vendors clean.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience requirement: Previous experience with Accounts Payable preferred.
• Technical skills required: Must have a solid background in applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as they relate to Accounts Payable. Must be able to write legibly and communicate well. Computer proficiency is required. Word processing, Adobe PDFs, spreadsheets, and computerized accounting system experience are essential to this position.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (Essential Functions)

• Execution of the complete process of Accounts Payable, including obtaining proper approval and back-up paperwork; coding of proper general ledger accounts; data entry into computer system; and print reports and checks. Maintains accounting office general filing system for paid invoices; and ensures the timely payment of rents, loans, taxes, insurance, etc.
• Assist with contacting vendors to get account statements, reconciling account statements, and ensuring all outstanding invoices get paid.
• Maintain confidentiality over all financial, payroll and personnel information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
