Accounts Payable Clerk

Western Veterinary Partners (WVP) is a private equity backed company that acquires, invests in, and supports veterinary practices and animal hospitals throughout the Western United States. WVP is a highly acquisitive company focused on continued growth and expansion into new markets and states. Post-acquisition, WVP supports its partner practices with the non-clinical side of the business by providing industry proven non-clinical business support services.

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our high-growth, fast-paced veterinary company. The chosen candidate will be a team player, a fantastic communicator, extremely detailed and enjoys the startup environment. This is a hybrid position – in office Tuesday/Wednesday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pick up and process company mail twice a week
• Sort, research and scan the Accounts Payable mail
• Sort and deliver the mail for all other internal teams
• Manage the communication between AP and other teams within the company
• Act as a floater on the AP team. Assist the team in invoice entry, statements, research, answering emails and phone calls

To thrive in this position candidates need to have:

• High School Graduate/GED
• 1+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience in a fast paced, high volume office environment
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• High level of customer service orientation and communication
• Can work well both independently and on a team
• Detail and deadline oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be comfortable with technology (Scanning, Adobe, Outlook, Teams)
• Local to the greater Denver area

The base hourly range for this full-time position is $23 - $25 hourly. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
