Position Overview:
Seeking a seasoned Vice President of Operations to lead operational excellence within the investment and bullion markets sector. This executive role is crucial for managing day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the investment and bullion markets, possess a proven track record in operational leadership, and be skilled in navigating the complexities of the financial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
•Operational Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement operational strategies that support business objectives, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and excellence in the investment and bullion markets.
•Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure quality. Implement best practices and innovative solutions for process improvement.
•Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and standards, including those specific to the investment and bullion markets. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to operations.
•Risk Management: Develop and oversee a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and grow the operations team. Foster a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and alignment with business goals.
•Customer Satisfaction: Oversee customer service operations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues efficiently.
•Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for operations. Ensure operational costs are managed effectively, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
•Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with other senior leaders to align operational strategies with overall business objectives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on operational performance and initiatives.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. An MBA is highly desirable.
•Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational leadership roles, with significant experience in the investment and/or bullion markets.
•Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and risk management.
•Proven track record in process optimization, team leadership, and operational excellence.
•Exceptional analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of leading teams and working collaboratively across the organization.
•Ability to manage high-stress situations and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
