The Vice President (VP) is responsible for leading the organization's fundraising infrastructure. This includes supervising the development team, board development, managing the annual fund, implementing direct mail appeals, major gifts, fundraising events, planned giving, and other fundraising activities. Additionally, the VP oversees revenue tracking, grants management, maintains the donor base, works with the board development committee, and directs the organization’s communication, marketing, and education programs. As a leadership team member, the VP must embody the organization's mission and vision while upholding the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. They must encourage teamwork to achieve fundraising and External Affairs objectives that support the organization's mission. The VP must also identify new prospects and provide adequate stewardship to selected donors .Under the direction of the President and CEO, the incumbent will lead the implementation and oversight of all aspects of the organization's fundraising efforts and will work closely with other executive leaders, such as finance, operations, and medical administration. Reports to: Chief Executive Officer and President Supervises: Development Associate, Major Gifts Officer, Mid-Level Giving Manager, Director of Grants Management, Director of Marketing, and the Director of Education Services.
