Zinnia Health is looking to hire an experienced and result-driven VP of Compliance to be responsible for our company’s compliance practices and programs.You will lead the compliance team in ensuring that company operations comply with relevant industry regulations and local and federal laws and avoid activities that could result in lawsuits, fines, and reputation damage.

About the Position:
- Some of your primary duties will include establishing internal compliance policies, determining compliance metrics and creating a system for real-time monitoring and reporting, devising compliance programs, and overseeing internal compliance audits to determine potential risks and areas of improvement.
- You will work closely with the Executive team to address compliance issues, mitigate risks (lawsuits, revoked business licenses, workplace hazards, and similar), and maintain the organization’s overall ethical and legal integrity.
- To qualify for this position, you need to have at minimum a master’s degree in risk management, Law, Business Administration, or a similar field and at least 10 years of experience working as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role.
- Candidates with certifications in compliance management relevant to our industry (for example, CCEP or IACCP) will have an advantage, as will those candidates with a doctorate degree.
VP of Compliance Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for our compliance team.
- Work closely with department heads and other management-level staff to establish compliance priorities and update policies.
- Plan and execute compliance programs to ensure that company operations are adhering to relevant federal, state, and local laws.
- Develop guidelines for internal compliance audits of various company operations to see whether proper protocols and procedures are followed, identify problems, and suggest ways for improvement.
- Stay up to date on the latest regulatory changes within the industry and update our compliance procedures accordingly.
- Create and maintain a library of Compliance-related documentation.
- Facilitate collaborations with external legal experts and auditors when performing audits and creating new compliance policies.
- Promote an effective compliance culture in our workplace by organizing training workshops to educate employees on the best compliance practices.
VP of Compliance Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in Law, Risk Management, Business Administration, or similar (Doctorate preferred)
- 10+ years of experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role
- Must have multi-state experience.
- Deep understanding of best risk management practices
- Extensive knowledge of Compliance standards and protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Compliance certifications (CCEP, CRCM, IACCP, or another relevant certification)
Salary Range: $115K+ - competitive salaries based on experience.
