Responsibilities*:

• Monitor and support the ticket queue and phone group for incoming requests.
• Provide Tier 2 support and troubleshooting of Windows workstations, servers, applications, and networks.
• Handle escalations from Tier 1 technicians and other service desks in a timely manner.
• Image workstations and provide setup and end user training for new hires.
• Provide Tier 2 support and troubleshooting for on-prem and cloud-based Windows Servers, 2012 and newer
• Assist in maintaining current systems and propose new methods for managing and optimizing these systems.
• Work with vendors to install and support internet circuits, networking equipment and A/V systems.
• Participates in disaster recovery planning and testing and implementation. Proactively seeks to prevent problems or issues from arising by working with either in house staff or third-party vendors
• Works autonomously on assigned projects with the ability to provide deliverables on time
• Automates solutions, when possible, via scripting, windows tools and RMM solutions.
• Performs after hours support duties and participates in “on-call" rotation as required to sustain information systems and service level agreements

Requirements:

• High school diploma / GED required.
• 4 years of IT Help Desk experience supporting Windows desktops and Microsoft 365
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• Requires occasional travel to satellite offices.

Desired:

• Certifications including but not limited to CompTIA Network+/Security+, or CCNA
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Intune
• Experience with Connectwise PSA ticketing system and Connectwise Automate RMM
